Who Is Kristin Cabot?
Kristin Cabot is best known professionally for her work in human resources, employee engagement, and corporate culture. Before becoming widely recognized online, she had spent more than two decades working with companies and helping them develop their teams. Her professional background focuses heavily on connecting business growth with effective people strategies. At 53 years old, Cabot has held senior leadership positions in the technology sector, with her roles at Neo4j and Astronomer becoming particularly notable parts of her career.
Kristin Cabot’s Career and Professional Background
Cabot developed her career around people strategy rather than limiting her work to traditional human resources responsibilities. Her experience includes recruitment, employee development, organizational culture, leadership support, and managing teams during periods of rapid business expansion. She has described her approach as connecting a company’s treatment of employees with its broader business objectives. This philosophy helped shape her professional identity and eventually led her into senior executive positions at technology companies experiencing significant growth and organizational change.
Her Role at Neo4j
Before joining Astronomer, Kristin Cabot held a senior human resources position at Neo4j, the technology company known for its graph database platform. During her time there, the company’s workforce reportedly expanded from around 225 employees to approximately 900. Such rapid growth required major changes in recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and workplace systems. Her experience managing people operations during this expansion strengthened her profile as an executive capable of supporting organizations while they moved through demanding stages of business growth.
Kristin Cabot at Astronomer
Astronomer announced Cabot as its Chief People Officer in November 2024. In this position, she focused on attracting, developing, and retaining employees while supporting the company’s expanding workforce. Astronomer operates in the data technology sector and is known for Astro, its platform built around Apache Airflow. Cabot joined the company during a period of significant business expansion, making workplace culture, recruitment, leadership development, and employee retention important parts of her responsibilities as the organization continued to scale.
What Happened at the Coldplay Concert?
Kristin Cabot gained widespread attention following a Coldplay concert at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts on July 16, 2025. During the concert, a stadium camera showed Cabot embracing Astronomer CEO Andy Byron. After noticing themselves on the screen, both quickly moved away from the camera. Coldplay frontman Chris Martin made a spontaneous joke about their reaction. The short moment was recorded by concertgoers, shared across social media platforms, and rapidly became a widely discussed viral video.
What Happened After the Video Went Viral?
The viral clip quickly moved beyond social media and attracted international news coverage because Cabot and Byron both held senior leadership positions at Astronomer. On July 18, Astronomer announced that its board had opened a formal investigation and emphasized expectations surrounding leadership conduct and accountability. Byron was placed on leave and subsequently resigned from his position. Pete DeJoy stepped into the interim CEO role as the company responded publicly to the unexpected attention surrounding its senior executives.
Kristin Cabot’s Resignation From Astronomer
Kristin Cabot also left Astronomer shortly after the concert incident. On July 24, 2025, the company confirmed that she had resigned from her position as Chief People Officer. Her departure came only days after Andy Byron stepped down as CEO. Cabot largely stayed away from public discussion during the immediate aftermath of the viral video. As a result, most reliable information about the situation came through Astronomer’s statements and reporting about the company’s response rather than extensive comments from Cabot herself.
Kristin Cabot’s Age and Height
Kristin Cabot is 53 years old, while her reported height is approximately 5 feet 3 inches. Public interest in details such as her age and height increased considerably after the Coldplay video brought her name to mainstream attention. However, Cabot built her public professional profile primarily around corporate leadership rather than entertainment or social media. Consequently, many personal details commonly available about celebrities remain limited, while information about her employment history and executive experience is much more widely documented.
Kristin Cabot’s Personal Life
Despite the intense attention surrounding her name, Kristin Cabot has generally maintained a private personal life. She became publicly recognizable because of an unexpected viral moment rather than through entertainment, television, or social media fame. Therefore, many details about her family and day-to-day life have not been widely shared publicly. Her established public profile mainly concerns her professional experience, executive positions, workplace leadership, and the circumstances surrounding her departure from Astronomer following the widely circulated concert video.
Final Thoughts
Since leaving Astronomer in July 2025, Cabot has kept a relatively low public profile. Her professional record still includes more than two decades of experience in people leadership, including significant roles at Neo4j and Astronomer. The Coldplay video dramatically changed the level of public attention surrounding her, but it represents only one part of a much longer professional history. Future information about her career should depend on confirmed announcements, particularly if she accepts another executive or people leadership position.
