Who Is Anna Frey?
Anna Frey is an American tennis player who became widely recognized during her junior career before moving into college tennis. She is also known for creating lifestyle, dance, and personality-driven content on social media. Her combination of competitive sport and digital popularity has introduced her to audiences beyond traditional tennis fans. Despite her young age, Frey has already built a recognizable public profile while continuing to develop her skills and gain experience against strong competition.
Anna Frey Age and Birthday
Anna Frey is 18 years old and was born on November 5, 2007. Her age often attracts attention because she achieved considerable recognition in tennis while still in her teenage years. She competed at a high level as a junior and later made the transition to college competition. Starting young allowed Frey to gain valuable tournament experience early, while her continued development has helped establish her as a promising young player with plenty of time to progress further.
Early Life and Hometown
Anna Frey grew up in Farmington, Utah, where tennis became an important part of her life from an early stage. She developed her game while balancing school, training, tournaments, and other everyday responsibilities. Utah remained closely connected with her junior tennis journey as she progressed into stronger levels of competition. Her early development eventually helped her attract national attention, while her personality and comfort on camera also provided the foundation for the social media presence she later built.
High School and Junior Tennis Career
Frey attended Farmington High School before graduating early to concentrate on the next stage of her tennis and academic journey. During her junior career, she developed into a highly regarded prospect and competed in major national events. She reached No. 2 nationally in her recruiting class and became a two-time semifinalist at the USTA Billie Jean King Girls’ 16s National Championships. These results strengthened her reputation and helped prepare her for the demands of college-level tennis.
Professional Tennis Experience
Before beginning her college career, Anna Frey also gained experience in professional-level tennis events. In 2024, she received an opportunity to compete in WTA qualifying, giving her valuable exposure to players beyond the junior circuit. She later reached a career-high WTA singles ranking of No. 803. Competing at this level while still a teenager provided an important test of her game and offered experience that could benefit her as she continues developing through college and future tournaments.
College Tennis at UNC
Anna Frey joined the University of North Carolina women’s tennis program after completing high school ahead of the traditional schedule. She enrolled at UNC in January 2026 and quickly began competing at the Division I level. During her freshman season, Frey recorded strong results in both singles and doubles, including a 16-5 singles record and a 13-2 doubles mark. She also contributed during postseason competition as North Carolina advanced to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament.
Anna Frey Height and Physical Profile
Anna Frey stands 5 feet 6 inches tall, giving her an athletic build suited to the speed, movement, and endurance required in competitive tennis. Height is only one part of a player’s overall performance, as footwork, timing, technique, fitness, and decision-making are equally important. Frey’s experience across junior, professional-level, and college competition has allowed her to continue improving these areas while adjusting to stronger opponents and the physical demands associated with high-level women’s tennis.
Anna Frey Net Worth
Anna Frey’s net worth is estimated at around $700,000, although an exact figure has not been publicly confirmed through detailed financial records. Her potential income sources may include social media activity, partnerships, promotional opportunities, and tennis-related earnings. However, estimates published online can vary significantly because private finances are rarely disclosed. As both her athletic career and digital presence continue developing, her commercial opportunities could also change, making any current net worth figure best treated as an estimate rather than a confirmed amount.
TikTok and Social Media Popularity
Away from tennis, Frey has developed a major social media following, particularly through TikTok. She began posting on the platform in 2021 and became known for dance clips, lip-sync videos, lifestyle posts, and glimpses into her everyday life. Her content has allowed followers to see a different side of her personality beyond competitive tennis. This digital visibility has helped expand her audience and made her recognizable among people who may not regularly follow junior or college tennis.
Final Thoughts
At only 18, Anna Frey remains at an early stage of both her tennis career and public journey. College competition gives her an opportunity to develop technically and physically while regularly facing talented opponents.
